Sylvan ASR is Sylvan’s newest generation of non-grain synthetic spawn product. Building on Sylvan’s success with casing inoculum the research team has developed a fast colonizing, highly particulate and green mold resistant product that is suitable for use in most growing environments. The product uses a proprietary mix of unique materials that are carefully sourced and certified before incorporation into Sylvan’s production system.
Smart growers will find ASR to be a cost-effective alternative to traditional grain spawn products. It is cost effective when added to traditional Phase 2 beds, bag or block production as well as when incorporated into phase 3 tunnels where they may find compost colonization time is often reduced.
