Sylvan Sponsor Chinese Mushroom Days

Sylvan Inc recently sponsored the 11th Chinese Mushroom Days in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province, China. Representing Sylvan at this years gathering was Monir Elzalaki, Jimmy Miller, Weizhong Shen, Dr. Qing Shen, Ger Hendriks, Jorge Calvo and Christelle Chevalier. Jorge Calvo and Dr. Shen both participated in the Speakers Program and were very well received. This was Sylvan’s 6th year as a major sponsor and 11th year as a leading participator of the program. The China Day event is the largest in China for Agaricus growers and supports exotic producers as well. This year there were over 70 countries represented on the guest registry. Sylvan is by the far the largest International Agaricus Spawn supplier to China, dedicated to the growers that focus on high quality fresh market mushrooms.
